// Princess Bride Quote
The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies of all time; so when we were instructed to find a quote that used inflection and multiple voices this came to mind almost instantly. This project was my first foray in to After Effects, and I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed at first. It was challenging to learn a new program while I was also working on the graphics and storyboard for the piece. However, with the help of tutorials and friends that are a lot more talented at motion work than myself I think I overcame the obstacles.
We used a unique process in the design of this project. The first step was creating a static poster that laid out a tempo and design for our final piece. We then moved on to story boarding based on the poster. The poster gave a good foundation for the camera movement and the addition of story boards helped define the type animations in the final piece.
This project helped me learn a new program and introduced me to a new facet of design, a success in my opinion.
